Background
The client sold non-slip indoor floor tiles to the consumer in 2023. In late 2025, the consumer complained that the tiles were not easy to clean and did not meet representations made by the importer that they were easy to maintain.
RESULTAPPLICATION WITHDRAWN AT HEARING
The consumer withdrew the application at the hearing.
Arguments were presented that the applicant had failed to demonstrate that the tiles were not of acceptable quality and had not chosen the correct party for the misrepresentation argument.
